FWR Faraday Bag Lab Generation 2.3 is a specialized shielding pouch for the secure storage, transport, and laboratory work with mobile phones and other wireless devices. Thanks to its transparent window, it allows the display of the stored device to be monitored without the need to open the bag, and therefore without interrupting the shielding. The shielding layer under the transparent viewing window also helps limit device communication with 5G networks, mobile networks, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC.
The pouch is designed especially for the needs of police, forensic experts, court-appointed experts, and laboratory workplaces where it is necessary to monitor the status of a device, check the display, or verify the progress of work without opening the bag. At the same time, it may also be suitable for companies and security teams that need to monitor a device while maintaining shielding.
Main benefits:
- shielding of 5G, mobile signal, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC,
- measured attenuation of up to 60 dB,
- transparent window for visual inspection of the device display,
- option to monitor the device status without opening the bag,
- simple Velcro closure,
- made from high-quality and durable material,
- lightweight, durable construction for use in the laboratory and in the field,
- suitable for forensic securing, laboratory testing, and device inspection without opening the bag,
- internal dimensions 13 × 22 cm, suitable even for the largest current phones.
Velcro closure
Generation 2.3 uses the original type of Velcro fastening with a single fold. Thanks to simple closing in a single movement, the bag is practical for everyday use and quick handling. This type of closure is suitable for users who prefer simple and uncomplicated use without magnets or multiple folding.

What fits inside the bag
The internal dimensions of 13 × 22 cm comfortably accommodate even the largest current smartphones (e.g. iPhone Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy Ultra), including with a protective case.
FWR Faraday Bag Lab Generation 2.3 Small is suitable for:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is a Faraday bag used for?
A Faraday bag is used to shield wireless devices from external signals. It is used in digital forensic analysis, safe device transport, or privacy protection.
Is the Faraday bag also suitable for regular users?
Yes. Although it is designed for professional use, it is also suitable for companies, managers, and users who want to reduce the risk of tracking, eavesdropping, or remote device communication.
Does FWR Faraday Bag Lab Generation 2.3 block 5G signal?
Yes, Generation 2.3 is verified for shielding 5G signal and at the same time limits communication via mobile networks, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC.
Can the phone be controlled by touch through the transparent window?
No. The transparent window is only used for visual inspection of the device display. A phone or other touch device cannot be controlled through the window without opening the bag.
Will a mobile phone fit inside the bag?
Yes, the internal dimensions of 13 × 22 cm are suitable even for the largest current phones. Before purchase, we recommend comparing the dimensions of your device with the internal dimensions of the pouch.
Can a phone inside the bag be called?
No — that is exactly the purpose of the pouch. Inside, the device loses signal, it cannot be called, its location cannot be found, and it cannot be accessed remotely.
Does a phone discharge faster inside the bag?
A switched-on phone without signal may consume more energy because it is trying to search for an available signal again. For long-term storage, we recommend airplane mode or switching it off.
How do I know the bag works?
Place the device inside, close the pouch, wait at least one minute, and check whether it has lost access to the mobile network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or location services. With a phone, you can also try calling it — the call should fail and the device should be unavailable.
