The box is compatible with all SATA 2.5" HDD and SSD drives with a height of 7 - 9.5 mm and thanks to the USB 3.0 interface offers a transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps. Quality aluminum construction ensures not only an exclusive look but also long life. USB 3.0 cable is included.
The main advantage of this box is the switch to read-only mode, which prevents writing to the inserted disk. After disconnecting the disc from the system, simply turn the switch to a position with the closed lock, and after reconnecting, it is no longer possible to write to the disc. This is especially useful if you need to connect the drive to an unknown computer where malicious code may be present, or if you need to share data with someone and you want to prevent it from being altered or damaged.
This product is an excellent solution for fulfilling the requirement of Section 50(4), Decree No. 503/2020, on the performance of expert activities, which is an implementing regulation of the new Act on Experts and requires the capture of the electronic attachment of the expert report on a data carrier in a way that makes it impossible to delete or modify its contents.
